Teamwork has been one of the biggest lessons I have taken from my time serving as President of the Northeast Spa & Pool Association (NESPA). Working alongside contractors, retailers, service professionals, distributors, manufacturers, and association leaders has reinforced how much our industry depends on people working together and supporting one another. Many companies describe their employees as family, especially in an industry built on generations of family-owned businesses. But I believe strong teams go a step further. They support one another, challenge each other to improve, share responsibility, celebrate wins, and work through setbacks together.Strong teams also invest in their people. Experienced professionals mentor younger employees; managers coach their staff, and team members share knowledge that helps others grow. That commitment helps prepare the next generation of technicians, managers, and leaders. My experience with NESPA has also shown me that teamwork extends beyond a single company. When contractors, manufacturers, distributors, retailers and service professionals exchange ideas and learn from one another, the entire industry benefits.I see that same mindset at Azureon. Each of our companies brings its own people, experience and strengths to the organization. By sharing knowledge, holding each other accountable and supporting one another, we become stronger together. That is what teamwork means to me. Strong teams build stronger people, stronger companies, and a stronger pool and spa industry.
